Nicole Keefer & Rosemary Love

We’re back to our normal programming and celebrating National Nurses Week by saluting the hardworking women and men providing support to individuals and families, in a myriad of ways, through times of physical and/or mental hardship.  Joining Mike & Pete this week are two valued members of VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services – and RN’s themselves – Nicole Keefer, Director of Parish Nursing, and Rosemary Love, RN Care Coordinator.  The two dedicated professionals share how they got involved in their current vocations, how faith plays a role in healing, and give a few tips on staying happy and healthy. (Mike and Pete were taking notes.)

Deacon Jerry Jablonowski & Anne Marie Pirillo

We always like chatting with our friends from VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services and today we sit down with two of our favorites, Executive Director Deacon Jerry Jablonowski and Anne Marie Pirillo, Manager, Parish Based Senior Social Programs. In addition to talking about the incredible (and expanding) work of VITALity, we also discuss their April 28 event in Ventnor, NJ, “FOLLOWING THE WAY OF ST. JAMES ON THE ROAD OF LIFE,” a special day of prayer, fitness and fellowship that was inspired by El Camino de Santiago (The Way of Saint James).

Fr. John Fisher, OSFS

What is the Direction of Intention Prayer, and how can it help Catholics guide their lives to God? Father John Fisher, OSFS helps Mike and Pete understand this question on the latest episode of an enlightening Talking Catholic. As well, the Rector of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception shares a bit on his journey to the Oblates, forming students in the classroom as a teacher, his work in Camden, and his Eagles fandom.

Deacon Jerry Jablonowski and Mimi Schaible

Deacon Jerry Jablonowski, Executive Director of VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services, and Mimi Schaible, Director of Care Coordination and Consultation for VITALity join Mike and Pete this week to explain how their programs enhance the quality and dignity of life for the elderly, persons with disabilities, and their families through programs and services that address the health and well-being of body, mind, and spirit.
