VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services recognizes the value of keeping up with important health topics and hosted a webinar on the topic of cancer via Zoom on April 14th. The presentation included an update on cancer including where we started, where it is now and where it’s headed. It also included information on our parish-based cancer ministry, Our Journey of Hope. Presenters included Dr. Ana Maria Lopez, MD, MPH, MACP, Professor and Vice Chair of Medical Oncology, Sidney Kimmel Medical College and Chief of Chief of Cancer Services at Jefferson Health New Jersey, Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, as well as Reverend Percy W. McCray, Jr., Director of Faith based Programs, Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
