During a Mass Sept. 11 celebrating those 90-plus and 100-plus years of age, Msgr. James Tracy, above, likened seniors to shepherds who cared for their children and families among the trials and tribulations of their lives, when no doubt they questioned their efforts. “But you never gave up, and you always prayed,” he preached. The annual Mass for Centenarians and Nonagenarians, sponsored by VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services, was celebrated in Saint Isidore Church, Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Vineland. Father Junior Flores, parish administrator, was concelebrant. Deacon Jerry Jablonowski, VITALity’s executive director, thanked the seniors for their lifetime of dedication to the faith.
