The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to understand the necessary core knowledge to practice Faith Community Nursing.
Fall 2022 session will run Wednesdays and Saturdays from August 24 through September 21. Sessions will not be held on Saturday September 3.
All sessions will take place via Zoom.
VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services of the Diocese of Camden is offering scholarships for the 2022 Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Course in support of the professional and spiritual development of the Parish Nurse Ministry throughout the Diocese.
Full scholarships are available for Registered Professional Nurses, who are parishioners in The Diocese of Camden and who:
1. Present a ‘letter of support’ from your pastor stating that you are an active parish nurse and will continue your ministry (if more than one nurse is coming from a parish only one letter with all the nurses names, who wish to attend is necessary)
or
2. Present a letter from your pastor stating that you are planning to start a Parish Nurse or Health Ministry, have the pastor’s support and will continue that ministry for two years.
and
3. Be able to participate in all program sessions and satisfy all program requirements.
